Learn the basics of screen printing to create a two-color image for your favorite band! Students will take home 7-10 finished posters. Bring your own shirts to print (up to 10 shirts).

Friday 9/4, 6–8pm - Optional digital workshop to set up your artwork prior to the class.
Saturday 9/5, 12:30–4pm - Day 1 will focus on preparation and basics of screen printing.
Saturday 9/12, 12:30–4pm - Day 2 will focus on printing posters and t-shirts.

Christine Rucker is an artist and social worker based in Virginia Beach, VA. She graduated from Pratt Institute in painting and art history, and Virginia Commonwealth University in clinical social work. As an artist, she works as a bookmaker, designer, and mixed media printmaker.
